The Story
Hello, my name is Chuck Barnes,
owner at Barnes Irrigation.
Born in Lubbock Texas. Joined the U.S. Army out of high school and served as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division.
After the Army we moved from Lubbock to the Central Texas area in 1994.
In 1998 while employed as the maintenance supervisor for a municipal parks department, I tested and obtained my Texas Irrigators license.

At Barnes Irrigation we operate and fully adhere to the philosophy that
"communication is vital" If we tell you we will be there for a service appointment, we will be there.
If we need to reschedule an appointment for any reason, we will contact you in advance.
When you call, text or send an email, we will contact you back.
We understand that your time is valuable.
During the spring and summer months the Irrigation/ green industry can become quite hectic and incredibly busy.
Rest assured that we will not use this as an excuse to not return your call or email.
We strive to respond within 24 hours. Quicker than that when possible.
If we are unable for any reason to accommodate your service request, we will tell you that up front. Any promise made is a promise kept to the very best of our ability with anyone associated with "Barnes Irrigation"

Home Sprinkler system. Fast and high quality installation. Manual trenching instead of large destructive heavy equipment that tears up the yard. Rain had softened up the hard baked/cooked Summer soil, so the installation was quicker than expected. Chuck refunded a portion of the installation costs because his costs were lower. Amazing deal. Definitely recommend Barnes Irrigation.

Operate the system zone by zone making note of any deficiencies such as:
1. Main or lateral line leaks, broken sprinkler heads, cut drip tubing.
2. Sprinkler heads that may need to be straightened, raised or lowered.
3, Look for heads spraying on to the street, sidewalk, driveway or other hardscaped areas
4. Check for the correct operating pressure and water flow of each station.
5. Clogged nozzles
6. Low head drainage
7. Check for correct head spacing / layout
8. Ensure the system has a functioning "Rain sensor" device
9. Measure the gallon per minute usage of each zone
